Team TrainingThe Team Training Program is based on Duperier Soccer Academy curriculum or it is customized to fit your team's needs. Players go through intense technical training based on their age and level, as well as tactical training and strategy. In addition to foot skills training, the program focuses on developing a possession game and team dynamics. The program includes instructional demonstrations, technical training, advanced footwork, tactical plays, possession games, scrimmages and small-sided games. It will help create team cohesiveness necessary for success in competitive soccer.
DETAILS OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
- Evaluation: I evaluate the players' skill level, and decide what they need to work on more intensely,in addition to the essential soccer principles.
- Individual technique: working on ball mastery (using a lot of foot work, including the Coerver system, juggling, feints, scissors, Pele, Cruyff, etc. moves, including receiving the ball, on the ground and air balls, trapping, trapping and orienting the ball to avoid pressure (pressure relieving), shielding (control under pressure).
- Collective technique: using activities and games that require decision-making and maximum ball touches.
One very important aspect that I work on with my teams is fast movement of the ball, with 1 - 2 quality touches, wall-passes, etc... These techniques will help the teams learn to keep the possession of the ball, which is what I emphasize in my coaching-training philosophy.
The improvement of the Individual and Collective Technique will allow the players to control, pass, dribble and to shoot the ball much better and efficiently.
- Tactics (System play): Defending system (Zone vs. man to man) and Offensive system (with the transition Defense-Offense / Offense-Defense. Switching point of attack, etc...
Improving Tactics will allow the players to make the right decisions, position themselves better in the field, and make well-timed transitions in between Defense - Attack and vice versa.
- Strategy: Corners, Free kicks (Indirect and direct), Penalties, Throwing Out of Bounds, Goal kicks.
